REGON 000001620. - In order to use the online store, the following conditions must be met:
a) access to the Internet;
b) using an updated web browser: Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer or Apple Safari. - Using the online store depends on the acceptance of cookies and the privacy policy. Failure to accept cookies may result in the incorrect functioning of the store.
- Gdańsk University of Technology will make every effort to ensure that the online store operates continuously. The Seller reserves that there may be interruptions in the functioning of the store, in particular in order to update data, repair the system or perform other maintenance works, which the Seller will inform about on the store's website.
- The sales offer of the online store https://sklep.pg.edu.pl includes:
- scientific and didactic publications;
- occasional publications;
- promotional gifts with the logo of Gdańsk University of Technology. - The goods offered in the online store are brand new and legally placed on the Polish market. Moreover, Gdańsk University of Technology declares that they are free from physical or legal defects.
Placing and executing orders
- Purchases via the online store can be made by natural persons, legal persons and organizational units without legal personality. Organizational units of Gdańsk University of Technology cannot make purchases via the online store.
- Ordering goods is possible only after accepting the Regulations for the purchases of the Gdańsk University of Technology online store. From the moment of accepting these Regulations, the Customer is bound by their content.
- In order to make a purchase in the e-shop the Customer should:
- add the selected goods to the basket;
- fill in and approve the order form specifying the method of delivery (shipment or personal collection), delivery address and invoice details, which can be issued at the Customer's request. Pickup in person applies only to the GUT Publishing House.
- choose the mode and form of payment;
- approve the order form. - The approval of the completed order form results in the conclusion of a distance contract and acceptance of the order, about which the Customer is informed by e-mail. The order processing begins when the payment for the order is received by the e-payment system or to the account of Gdańsk University of Technology in the case of payment by bank transfer. The option to choose payment by bank transfer applies only to the GUT Publishing House. It is not possible to combine different payment methods when paying for one order. The store does not process orders payable on delivery.
- The order is effective if the Customer correctly completes the order form and correctly provides contact details, including the correct shipping address. The Seller will contact the Customer when the data is incomplete. If at least two attempts to contact the Customer prove to be ineffective, it is considered impossible to provide the service, and Gdańsk University of Technology may cancel the order or withdraw from the contract.
- A fiscal receipt is attached to each order. An invoice may be issued at the Customer's request. The Customer is obliged to inform Gdańsk University of Technology about the need to issue an invoice.
- Shipping costs are added to each order, depending on the size of the order and the method of delivery.
- In the case of mail-order delivery, the Customer is obliged to check the condition of the shipment in the presence of the carrier. If it has suffered a loss or damage, the carrier is obliged to report the condition of the shipment and the circumstances of the damage. The carrier should also do it at the Customer's request. The risk of accidental loss or damage to the goods passes to the Customer upon delivery of the shipment.
- The purchase contract may be concluded by an adult, while minors can place an order only with the knowledge and full supervision of a legal guardian.
- Goods ordered in the e-shop of Gdańsk University of Technology are delivered only to the territory of Poland.
Payments
- Payment method available: online payment.
- In the case of online payment, the order will be shipped within a maximum of 5 business days from the moment of positive transaction authorization. Working days shall be understood as days from Monday to Friday, excluding Saturdays and public holidays. Orders will be processed between 8.00 and 14.00.
- Any possible transaction costs that may arise do not constitute the income of Gdańsk University of Technology and depend on the prices indicated by the entities offering a given service and constitute their income. These costs are borne by the Customer.
Personal data - Personal data provided by the Customer in the online store of Gdańsk University of Technology are processed by Gdańsk University of Technology with the registered office address: ul. G. Narutowicza 11/12, 80-233 Gdańsk. Gdańsk University of Technology is the administrator of this data within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46 / EC (general regulation on data protection).
- The data provided by the Customer is processed in order to provide services related to the keeping and service of the account and the execution of orders in the online store. The legal basis for processing is the necessity of processing to perform the contract (Article 6 (1) (b) of the GDPR).
- Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary to make a purchase in the Gdańsk University of Technology online store and to provide services electronically as part of the Gdańsk University of Technology online store.
- The customer has the right to inspect the content of their data, correct and delete them. Personal data may be corrected or deleted after logging in to the Customer's account or by reporting to sklep@pg.edu.pl.
- The customer's personal data is used only to process the order. Gdańsk University of Technology does not share data with other entities. By providing personal data, the Customer declares that the data provided by him/her are their own data.
Returns, exchanges and complaints - The Customer can cancel the order only by e-mail: sklep@pg.edu.pl. An order that has already been shipped to the Customer is not subject to cancellation.
- Pursuant to the Act of 30 May 2014 on consumer rights (consolidated text Journal of Laws of 2017, item 683), an individual customer purchasing a product may withdraw from it within 14 days without giving a reason. It is possible only when the purchased goods:
a) are in the same condition as when they were delivered to the Consumer;
b) are complete;
c) have not been used or copied;
d) show no signs of use;
e) are in their intact packaging. - In order to withdraw from the contract, the Consumer should send by registered mail:
a) completed ‘Statement on withdrawal from a distance contract’ constituting Attachment No. 1 to these Regulations;
b) original fiscal receipt or invoice for the purchased goods;
c) goods that are subject to withdrawal from the contract. - The store will return the equivalent of the price of the goods within 10 working days by bank transfer to the account indicated by the Consumer. The Seller does not accept COD shipments.
- If there is a need to return funds for a transaction made by the Customer with a payment card, the Seller will refund to the bank account assigned to the Consumer's payment card.
- The Consumer may exchange the ordered goods for a different size, shape, color or a different product, taking into account a possible difference in price. This is only possible if the goods concerned by the exchange:
a) are in the same condition as when they were delivered to the Consumer;
b) are complete;
c) have not been used;
d) show no signs of use;
e) are in their intact packaging. - In order to exchange the goods, the Consumer should send by registered mail:
a) a completed ‘Exchange Form’ constituting Attachment No. 2 to these Regulations;
b) original fiscal receipt or invoice for the purchased goods;
c) the goods concerned by the exchange. - In the event of replacement of the goods, the Consumer is obliged to bear the cost of re-shipping the goods to the Consumer in accordance with the selected delivery option and any difference in the price of the goods. The exchange will be made after the payment is credited to the Seller's account.
- If the Consumer, after receiving the goods, finds technical defects of the purchased goods, they should send them back as part of the complaint.
- You can make a complaint about the purchased goods within 2 years from the date of sale, but not later than 2 months from the moment of finding the defect subject to the complaint.
- In order to make a complaint about the goods, the Consumer should send by registered mail:
a) a completed ‘Complaint Form’ constituting Attachment No. 3 to these Regulations;
b) original fiscal receipt or invoice for the purchased goods;
c) goods to which the complaint relates. - The complaint will be considered by the Seller within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the complaint form and the Seller will inform about the result of the procedure via e-mail.
- The cost of sending the claimed goods is covered by the Seller. The cost of delivering the goods shall be refunded up to the amount of the cheapest form of delivery to the Consumer. The return will be made after receiving the package and accepting the complaint, at the latest within 10 working days from the date of considering the complaint. The damaged product will be replaced with another full-value product, and if this is impossible (e.g. due to exhaustion of stocks), the equivalent of the price of the purchased goods will be returned to the Consumer.

Final provisions - The prices of goods are given in PLN and are gross prices. The price does not include delivery costs. The prices become binding at the time of placing the order. Gdańsk University of Technology reserves the right to change the prices of goods on offer, introduce new goods and modify existing ones, carry out and cancel promotional campaigns.
- The photos of the goods available at https://sklep.pg.edu.pl are intended to show the general appearance of the goods, which in fact may slightly differ from the photos posted in the store.
- Gdańsk University of Technology reserves the right to amend these Regulations.
- In matters not covered by these Regulations, the provisions of the Civil Code shall apply.
